A respected safety and security professional with over 20 years of service and experience. I presently serve at one of the largest churches in Oregon, as the Director of Safety & Security for Peoples Church in Salem. A church of over 2,500 attendees each week, overseeing the security of the 13-acre campus and helping lead a wonderful team.
Continuing to improve safety awareness over the last 14 years by leading numerous safety and security training conferences throughout the northwest for many faith-based organizations and several schools. Training in the areas of Conflict Resolution, De-Escalation Techniques, Dealing with the Mentally Ill, Children's Ministry Protection, Mass Shooter Preparedness, along with many others.
Certified member of the Sheepdog Church Security Academy, safety & security certifications obtained through OSS Academy and the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement, Center for Personal Protection and Safety, and a Stop The Bleed course Instructor. FBSN Region 10 Leader, and interim Leader for Region 9 as well. Armed Private Security Provider with the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.
