The church can survive many types of attacks. But when it comes to physical or sexual abuse of a child, not only is it devastating to the victim and their family, this type of internal attack will often split or shut down the church due to following lawsuits and news headlines. This is the number 1 lawsuit brought against a church and something we all have a responsibility to protect against.
