Steve is the Director of Security at City Church of Bartlesville and the Director of Security at Wesleyan Christian School believing and leading according to God’s anointment in Acts 20:28. He has been a leader in his successful career as a business owner and later in the medical field. In addition, his service on several boards and committees helped further those entities through his leadership, values, and commitment.

Daniel earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Management degree from the University of Phoenix, and retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2007 after 21 years. He is a national conference speaker and trainer for churches around the country.  He is a writer and has produced several training videos on church security.  Daniel has a national podcast called Church Security Through Prevention.  Daniel continues to improve his own skills and knowledge in order to remain both ready to serve his church as well as to be able to instruct well around the country.

Paul serves at Crosspoint Church in McKinney, TX as an Elder where he developed the Security Ministry over 12 years ago with Congregational Security, Inc. as a ministry partner. He oversees training, special services (Church Security Teams), Motorcycle Escort Team, consulting with Churches and other non-profits, and firearms training. In these capacities, he works with some of the finest people in the House of Worship protection ministry helping them stand up their teams and facilitate on-going skills and proficiency training. Their Security Teams are hospitality oriented versus enforcement oriented, so they are often asked to provide security services to entertainment venues as well as executive protection of Senior Pastors in community events. Paul also serves in the Men’s Ministry, leads Bible studies, and teaches small groups.

David is the Executive Director of Operations for Second Baptist Church, where he has served nearly 40 years. A Texas police officer for over 35 years. He is currently the sworn Police Commissioner for the City of Spring Valley. He is a former Special Response Team member, an active shooter instructor and a sought-after church security expert.

Richard has led the Safety Team at his medium sized church in Colorado Springs since January 2008.  He was a police officer for 31 years, retiring in 2018.  He now conducts training for Safety Teams in Colorado on topics of “shoot / don’t shoot,” OC gel, and scenarios.

Mike is the Security Director at Kensington Church, a multi-campus church in Michigan. He is also a co-founder and President of the Security Leaders Coalition in Michigan. He is an instructor for AVERT, Sabre OC Spray and Narcan.  He regularly speaks to various organizations about church security.

Kurt is the founding pastor of Real Life Church in PSL, FL. Founder of Kurt Owen Ministries, created to LEAD (Love, Equip, Affect, and Demonstrate), building up the local church and ministering to the ministers and Pastors globally. He is a high threat protection lead and lead instructor  at ESS Global. He is also an executive protection agent and combat/executive protection instructor currently training some of the world’s largest ministries in security and executive protection.

Jeffrey Toeppe was born in Racine, WI in 1956, and has been a follower of Christ since 1973. He is married to Barbara and resides in Caledonia WI. He has a daughter and son-in-law living in Phoenix, AZ.

Jeff was elected to the FBSN Board of Directors on July 26, 2025.  He also serves as the Faith Based Security Network (FBSN) Membership Director, FBSN State and Regional Director and Region 5 Leader. He is a member of on the Best Practices and Threat Information Sharing Special Interest Groups. He serves on the Ad Hoc Committee to research and recommend a primary defensive liability coverage provider to the FBSN Board of Directors.

He has been a member of Grace Church since 2010, has served on the Discipleship Committee (2012-2015), as a Life-Group Leader (2019-2022), as the Prayer Team Co-Leader (2019-present).  He has been on the Grace Safety Ministry Team (GSMT) since 2012. He is the GSMT Co-leader (2022-present) and GSMT Training Coordinator (2016-present)

Jeff is the President/Owner of Wisconsin Plating Works of Racine ( www.wisconsinplating.com ), a family-owned metal finishing business established in 1919, which employs 28 and provides metal finishing services to the Automotive, Agricultural Equipment, Defense, OEMs, and other fabrication industries.

He is also the Owner and Chief Instructor of Personal Defense Training, LLC ( www.personal-defense-training.com ) an FBSN Affiliate, where he trains individuals, families, businesses, and Church Safety Ministry Teams. He is a United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) Training Counselor, and Instructor, NRA Instructor, Certified SABRE OC Spray PSA and AIP LE Instructor, Reflex Protect Aerosol Irritant Instructor, TASER Civilian EW Instructor, UTM Civilian Force-on-force Instructor, ALERT Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Instructor, and Navigate360 ALICE Instructor.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee Wisconsin.
