Info

Thanks to a grant from the South Central Community Foundation, we can offer this event for this very low cost for Pratt and all surrounding counties.

This event will be the official launch of a coalition of area churches working together to share best practices, training and threat information.

Carl Chinn will present his personal stories of being involved in a hostage situation (Focus on the Family, 1996) and a church active shooter event (New Life Church, 2007). Both ministries are in Colorado Springs just 3 miles apart and both were national NEWS stories when they happened.

Chinn was a designated responder at both events and will reveal details, both good and bad, of the security and law-enforcement actions at both events.

Over the last 30 years, Chinn's experiences in faith based security have come together with the forming of the Faith-Based Security Network -- a nationwide professional membership association of nearly 800 members now from 46 states and Washington DC. The FBSN is now based in Pratt, Kansas.

The result of this meeting will be the formation of an area (Pratt and surrounding counties) coalition of churches who help each other with training and relative information.
