JD Knight, a Deputy Sheriff with Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office with over 38+ years, retired as a lieutenant and returned to run the Safety in Faith program. Teaching experience in Agitated Chaotic Events, CPR/AED, Use of Force, FBI Defensive Tactics, KOGA Arrest Control, Self Defense and Police Baton, Lead Academy and Department Defensive Tactics, Taser, Crowd Control, Protestor Device. S.OR.T. member, sergeant, and commander. Currently now specializes by assisting local houses of worship by providing vulnerability assessments, safety team, formation, training, policy, grant writing and assistance.
