U.S. Navy Veteran & former Sheriff's Detective
Ali Perez is a U. S. Navy Vet and former Sheriff’s Detective. He worked in several areas and started the Gang Suppression Team. His last assignment was with the Child Abuse Unit, having handled over a hundred cases. Perez retired with 20 years of service. He is married with a son and daughter.
On 09/25/12 Ali and his arrest team were caught in a serious fire-fight while attempting to arrest a subject wanted for multiple charges of felony child molestation and exploitation. Ali was hit with a round that almost severed his left arm. Bleeding out fast he realized he had only minutes to live.
