Fight for them

On Friday 11/12/21, I finally got to see our first Great Grandchild. Little Stella is named after my Great Grandmother.

As I looked into her eyes I thought of Nehemiah 4:14 (NIV);

After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

When life’s battles are intense, God uses the eyes of a child to inspire warriors to stand up, put their hands on their swords and return to battle.

Think About it

Nehemiah had been called to a specific work. So have you. Are you serving in what God called you to? If not, get out of it. It won’t end well for you if you are slaving away where you are not called.

If you are called to where you find yourself, look things over. When you see the threat, stand up. Declare what you see without fear. Remember the Lord and why He has called you to do what you do.

He is great and awesome.

Remember who and what you are fighting for. Look into their eyes, then fight for them.
