On March 14th of 2020, I packed up my stuff from an event I had just spoken at in South Carolina. We didn’t know how serious Covid was or would become. Dave Grossman told me as were packing up, “this is at least a full-dress rehearsal.”
Events that were booked for the coming weeks started canceling like dominoes. After the President addressed the nation the following Monday (on 3/16/20), the nation shut down. First for 30 days. Then longer. Then longer still.
Every event the FBSN had scheduled shut down, including our 3rd annual summit scheduled for July of 2020. When we started planning the 2021 summit event, the reality of it happening in Colorado remained questionable.
Texas was already standing as other states began coming out from our Covid holes. In November of 2020, the Second Baptist Church in Houston welcomed us to consider their facility. We accepted.
We are so thankful they bravely stood up, and so glad we accepted that invitation.
Now the event has been detailed and we are proud to invite you to the 3rd annual Security Operations Summit (SOS) for faith-based defenders, law-enforcement and emergency first responders.
The full announcement went public on Saturday 5/22/21 (after being open exclusively to FBSN members a few days earlier). With 56 days left until registration ends, we already have 22 % of our estimated 400 attendance registered (88 seats filled).
We already have responsible defenders coming from 19 of the 45 states we are hoping to be represented
This is shaping up to the best SOS ever. Last week we posted the speaker bios and pictures. Today we are happy to post the full details of the event and the registration. It’s a large event, so follow any of the following links for details by category.
REGISTER before Friday June 11th for the early-bird price of $159. Bring your team of 5 or more for just $149 each.
